Wei Zhong is a political scientist specializing in comparative political behavior and quantitative methods. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in January 2021. Her research examines political party candidates’ effect, economic voting, and political sophistication. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of International Business and Economics in China and her master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her professional endeavors include causal inference interference projects for Artificial Intelligence Lab at Didi Chuxing, a leading mobile transportation platform in China.
