The George Washington University's Institute for Data, Democracy & Politics (IDDP), School of Media & Public Affairs (SMPA) and the Election Coverage and Democracy Network hosted Media for Democracy: Covering Elections Amidst Democratic Crisis on Monday, October 3, 2022.

The event featured a keynote address by Brian Stelter, former chief media correspondent for CNN and host of the CNN program Reliable Sources. The keynote was followed by a panel discussion moderated by Jesse Holland, who was joined by Molly Ball, Denetra Walker, Dannagal Young and Lilliana Mason.
