On October 21, 2025, IDDP will host its first public event of the year. “The State of Democracy in Trump's America: Year One,” co-sponsored by The New Republic magazine for a timely and thought-provoking conversation.
The event will feature a keynote from a US policymaker and a distinguished panel of scholars who will examine the challenges the Trump presidency poses to democratic institutions and norms in the United States.
