The Institute for Data, Democracy & Politics will be hosting a summit on digital threats and disinformation in Asia on Thursday, June 4, 2026. The event will bring together leading academics, policymakers, and other stakeholders for a set of discussions on public diplomacy, traditional influence operations and the growing role of AI. The event will feature presentations by several prominent scholars on disinformation, including Samantha Custer, Kazutoshi Sasahara, Joshua Tucker and Hanna Waight, followed by panel discussions and lively Q&A about common issues and concerns across the region.
