Alyse Mier

Alyse Mier is the Communications Director for the Institute for Data, Democracy & Politics (IDDP). Alyse advances IDDP’s mission by disseminating its research to a broad range of stakeholders including journalists, academics, policymakers and members of civil society. Before joining IDDP, she worked in media relations for Florida International University. She directed the coordination of press releases, media advisories and university wide communications for local audiences in South Florida and across the country. Alyse has also worked for local magazines and news sites in Miami and Washington D.C. where she authored articles that tell the stories of these communities. She holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Florida International University.
